A YEAR IN THE AFRICAN BUSH
2009 – 2010 saw my wife and I in South Africa volunteering, training and then working as safari guides in many beautiful wildlife reserves. I’ve written a book about our time there (with some cameo chapters from my wife), which you can find on Amazon. You can also download a pdf of the first chapter here, but the main reason for this section is to display some of our photos from that time (and occasional videos) to readers of the book.
A couple of things to say about the photos:

They are organised by book chapter, though not all chapters have photos.

The aim is more to give flavour and context to the book than show gorgeous shots of animals and landscapes. This is because we weren’t pro photographers and you can easily find better photographs of African wildlife elsewhere.

You’ll notice there aren’t many people in the shots you won't see any faces. That’s simply to protect people’s privacy.
